EMPLOYEES

Head – Educational and Religious Institutions Relations Department

Major Responsibilities

  • Helps develop distribution channels to increase market coverage and sales from the following markets: (i) CEAP and Marist groups, (ii) PERAA and other educational institutions, (iii) Religious organizations/dioceses, (iv) other institutions.
  • Conduct financial literacy seminars/presentations to target markets.
  • Attends channel meetings to give updates on new product promotions, discuss strategies and determine training needs, schedule trainings/seminars and answer queries of GAs and referrors.
  • Meets with clients to discuss investment options, help them accomplish investment application forms and attend to problems they encounter with their investments (major accounts only)
  • Answers inquiries from existing and potential investors. Presents FAMI Mutual funds to potential investors.
  • Ensures that all transactions are compliant with documentary and AMLA requirements.
  • Supervises the E&R Institutions Relations Department staff.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned by his superior.

Qualifications:

  • At least graduate of any Business course preferably in Banking and Finance; Master’s Degree/units preferred but not required.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in financial institutions, sales and marketing.
  • Knowledge in mutual funds and other financial products/ services, operations in financial institutions.
  • Planning and organizing skills, interpersonal skills, project management skills, oral and written communication skills, presentation skills
  • Hard-working, outgoing and dedicated

Cashiering Associate

Major Responsibilities

  • Keep custody of petty cash fund
  • Receives client investments and deposit them to FAMI or respective mutual fund’s bank accounts
  • Issue provisional and official receipts
  • Prepare checks upon presentation of signed vouchers, including redemption proceeds, settlements with brokers/suppliers and operational disbursements like cash advance, reimbursements, etc.
  • Release checks to corresponding payees
  • Extract investment data of clients from internet banking of MBTC
  • Perform functions in the absence of Cashiering Officer such as; Prepare daily cash position of FAMI and the mutual funds, coordinate with Investment Division on daily trades for FAMI and the mutual funds, prepare documentation for placements, trades and settlements, ie time deposit, application for purchase securities/IPO, letter of instructions for purchase/sale of securities, etc.,
  • Ensure proper filling of documents, until turned over to Accounting
  • Perform other functions assigned by the immediate superior as need arises

Minimum Qualifications

  • College Graduate in Business or Finance
  • At least 1 year related work experience
  • Working knowledge in cashiering cash management or investment transactions
  • Computer literate (especially in MS Excel), good communication and organizational skills

Social Media Advertising and Promotional Associate

Major Responsibilities

  • Develops and expands the company’s social media exposure.
  • Manages social media campaigns and promotions.
  • Creates, designs and updates all published contents in website account and other social media outlets.
  • Monitors online reviews and queries and responds to each.
  • Prepare regular reports for the department.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 1-year working experience doing marketing function
  • Proficient in MS Office, good oral and written communication skills, presentations skills, social media savvy
  • Hardworking, dedicated and can get along well with others

Customer Relations Associate

Major Responsibilities

  • Provide sales support to the assigned distribution channels to increase market coverage and sales output
  • Provides product and investment performance updates for clients
  • Present FAMI Mutual Funds to potential investors
  • Attends channel meeting to give updates on new product promotions, schedule trainings and answer queries for channel referrers
  • Coordinate transaction bookings with FAMI Operations
  • Updates the distribution database on a regular basis
  • Prepares sales report on a weekly basis
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

 

Qualifications

  • College graduate of any business course, preferably in Banking and Finance
  • Must have work experience in financial services
  • Basic knowledge on economics, investment and finance
  • Confident, conscientious, results-oriented

 


Accounting Associate

Major Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of Securities and Exchange Commission required reports for FAMI and Funds. SEC Form 17A, 17Q, 17EX, SEC 20IS, SEC 12-1 (if necessary)
  • Coordinates required data who other departments / entities such as Operations and Transfer Agency
  • Perform Bank Reconciliation process (daily/monthly) for all the Funds Bank account
  • Ensure clearing of float items. Coordinate adjusting entries with Fund Accountant
  • Coordinate with Bank/FMIC reconciling items
  • Provide to Department/Division Head data necessary for the preparation of management report on Bank Reconciliation Activity such as aging and causes of discrepancies
  • Does other functions that may be required by superior from time to time

 

Qualifications

  • Accounting Graduate, must be CPA
  • At least six (6) months working experience or has recently passed the CPA Board Exam
  • Knowledge on complete accounting cycle, FS preparation and Bank Reconciliation
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
  • Patient and hardworking

Alternative Distribution Sales Associate

Major Responsibilities

  • Helps in attending to the needs of Quasi Banks (Trust departments of bank), On-line fund distributors (stock brokers), Insurance companies, and other investment instrument distributors
  • Assist the department head in the execution of administrative  and operational activities relative to the alternative distributors and channels
  • Assist in the activities of First Metro Exchange Traded Fund and other ETFs that the company may manage in the future
  • Performs other duties that mat be assigned by superior

 

Qualifications

  • College Graduate, preferably Business Course
  • At Least six \(6|) months relevant work experience in financial services
  • Knowledge in mutual funds and other financial products and services
  • Hard working and can get along well with people

 

Application Support Officer

Major Responsibilities

  • Performs activities related to system deployment including data gathering, system analysis and design, programming, file structuring, testing, installation and user training
  • Coordinates with software vendor approved application issues and approved enhancements by the users
  • Provides user support/assistance for the effective use of the application
  • Troubleshoots reported application issues and conduct quick fixes if required
  • Task to do programming work when needed
  • Responsible for all systems development work and maintenance of Internet-and-Web-based applications
  • Prepares/complies all documents and manuals related to system assigned to him/her
  • Performs other task that may be assigned by immediate Superior from time to time

 

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or other related course
  • At least 3 years experience in system analysis and design
  • Working knowledge of Oracle database and /or Microsoft SQL and Access, knowledge in SQL tools and Java script, PHP, Visual Basic , web programming
  • Must be team player, dependable, ability to work in minimal supervision

Digital Marketing Associate

Major Responsibilities

  • Assist in building the business requirements for the mobile application of FAMI
  • Assist in coordinating the business requirments of FAMI to digital marketing partners
  • Assist the department head in execution of administrative and operational activities relative to the digital marketing
  • Assist in the activities of First Metro Exchange Traded Fund and other ETFs that the company may manage in the future
  • Performs other task that may be assigned by immediate Superior from time to time

 

Qualifications

  • College graduate preferably in Marketing, Advertising Technology or Business
  • At least six (6) months relevant work experience in Digital Marketing
  • Must be technology savvy, preferably with knowledge in Photoshop
  • Average interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Works with minimal supervision, hardworking and self-motivated

Customer Care Associate – Receptionist

Hiring Profile:

  • Bachelor / Degree holder of a 4 – year course
  • Has minimum of 6 months experience in Customer Service (experience in Investment Company is a plus but not required)
  • Has exposure on Customer Service and Administrative functions
  • Possesses excellent documentation, presentation and telephone skills
